The Tropical Mal is perfect for surfers who enjoy smooth trim, effortless glide and easy, forgiving noseriding. With a wider nose, square tail and timeless shape, the Tropical Mal delivers a stable and relaxed feeling while keeping enough response in the tail for lively and flowing turns.
A fine-tuned concave and chamfered rail edge beneath the nose help control speed and provide a forgiving platform for spending time up front. Soft 50/50 rails through the middle transition into more pinched rails towards the tail, balancing an enjoyable feeling of glide with a lively response when you step back to turn. Whether you're cruising in trim, perched on the tip of the nose, or flowing through turns and redirections, the Tropical Mal encourages smooth and stylish movement.
Equally suited to soft beach breaks and clean, peeling points and reefs, the Tropical Mal performs best in small waves through to head-high surf. Designed as a versatile everyday log, it brings together that classic longboard feeling with an easy to surf shape that makes every session fun and enjoyable.
Handcrafted in Bali, the Tropical Mal is available for custom order with a range of colours options to choose from.
